Erika
Davis-Marsh
Senior Instructor

Erika Davis-Marsh is a highly skilled Pilates instructor with a diverse and comprehensive background in both classical and contemporary Pilates methods. First introduced to Pilates during her college dance studies, Erika’s personal journey of overcoming her own physical challenges inspired her to help others break through their mental and physical limitations. Her extensive training began in 2000 at Center Studio, where she completed a rehabilitative-focused teacher training under Allyson Cabot (Core Conditioning) and Dawn-Marie Ickes, leading to her first certification in 2004.
Erika has continuously expanded her expertise over the years, earning multiple high-level certifications. She became a Pilates Method Alliance Certified Teacher in 2006 and furthered her education by specializing in GravityPilates at the Hollywood YMCA, where she gained a reputation for her dynamic group gravity and mat classes. Driven by her desire to master the classical method, Erika completed Romana’s Pilates certification in 2009 under renowned instructors such as Trish Garland, Cynthia Lochard, Michael Levy, and Moses Urbano—training directly with second-generation Pilates masters.
In 2007, Erika co-founded Pivotal Motion Pilates with her sister, Cassandra, focusing on functional fitness using the Classical Pilates Method. After several years of helping clients achieve their goals, Erika decided to pursue graduate film studies at USC, and she has been splitting her time between the film industry and Pilates ever since.
