Molly Niles Renshaw Pilates teacher and owner of Phoenix Classical Pilates studio

Molly Niles Renshaw, the owner of Phoenix Classical Pilates in Santa Monica, has been sharing her love of Pilates for 24 years. She was lucky to find and study with Romana Kryzanowska and Bob Liekens in New York City in the late 90’s as a young dancer after graduating from Skidmore College. A decade later she did a second certification at Power Pilates, again with Bob Liekens and a third certification in Yoga from YogaWorks in 2008.

Molly is forever a student, always trying to learn more about the body and how it works so she can serve her clients better. In addition to the thousands of hours of certifications, she regularly participates in continuing education workshops to stay up-to-date on technique, biomechanics, anatomy and prenatal training and takes weekly sessions, not only to stay fit but to remember what it feels like to be a client. A Pilates studio can be intimidating at first and Molly knows that. She wants everyone to feel comfortable and welcome in her studio.

Molly’s goal as a teacher is to help each client reach their goals so their bodies stay aligned, strong, and injury free.

Molly practiced Pilates through both of her pregnancies and knows it was the key to bouncing back quickly after the births. She loves teaching the pregnant ladies and then getting them strong with postnatal Pilates.

After many years in New York City, Molly, gravitated back to her roots in Los Angeles where she joined the Winsor Pilates team for the next decade. Mari Winsor was a great mentor to Molly and it’s where she met co-founder, Hector Mercado.

Molly is a featured instructor on Pilatesology.com and has a blog about Pilates, simplifying and living the good life called Tarrylife. She lives in Venice with her husband and two children.
